A few months ago, before depression hit, I came up with this playlist. I wanted to find 20 songs, the perfect hour, for spending a morning in bed. To have coffee to or start reading a new book and just make the most out of dolce far niente as the Italians would say.
I imagine it to work great as a soundtrack in the early stages and first nights spent together with a new significant other. It’s easy and intense at the same time with just the right amount of moody without feeling too heavy. Single or coupled up, it’s one of my very favorite mixtapes so far, no matter what mood I am in.
