Saturday Morning at Naschmarkt
Nearly two weeks ago, lil sis and I decided weΒ΄re in desperate need of a brunch date and some Shakshuka. So we met up at Naschmarkt and I took the chance to bring my camera and take a few photos for you to see, too. The Naschmarkt in Vienna is like a huge FarmerΒ΄s Market during the warmer months of the year along with little bistros and restaurants which welcome guests throughout the year.
Only the weather didnΒ΄t really play along as it seemed like a thick foggy cloud was covering the city, just like this TV show Under the Dome. We still made the best of it though and walked through the market back to the inner city for a little shopping spree.
That little boy made me smile as he couldnΒ΄t believe the abundance of fresh fish at the fish market section. He nearly had his nose glued to the windows and was constantly pulling his dads arm. So adorable.
And of course that walking route wouldnΒ΄t be complete without a glimpse at the opera house, the Wiener Staatsoper. What a beauty!
Wow, The Naschmarkt looks amazing and what are those dry-pasta nests? They look incredible. Have a great day, darling. xo
Thanks, Diana. I only wish the weather wouldΒ΄ve been better – not easy to take great photos when there is this fog covering the city!
I honestly have no idea :) I donΒ΄t even think itΒ΄s pasta, itΒ΄s something sweet, made of almonds. Next time I am around, I will ask and let you know :)
I can’t wait until we can stroll the Naschmarkt together!
